About Cloudtal
Cloudtal started out working across a handful of industries. The work that stuck β the work we got genuinely good at β was hire. So that's what we do now.
Salesforce implementations across a handful of verticals. Good work β but spread wide.
In every hire business: a good ops system, a CRM nobody trusts, and a person in the middle holding it together by memory.
We went deep on hire. When we sit down with your hire desk, we're not learning your business from scratch.
Why hire
So has most of the market. It's why a lot of hire businesses have a CRM nobody really uses, sitting next to the ops system that actually runs the business.
The problem isn't the people. It's that quoting, availability, and on-hire/off-hire tracking don't look like anything in a standard CRM template. Build it generic, and someone ends up maintaining two systems that don't talk to each other β carrying information between them by hand.
We'd rather go deep on one industry than wide across many. That means when we sit down with your hire desk, we've usually seen the same problem somewhere else first.
Our story
Our founder Asif kept seeing the same thing repeat in equipment hire companies: a good ops system, a CRM nobody trusts, and a person in the middle holding it all together by memory.
Cloudtal exists to fix that gap specifically β not to sell Salesforce in general. The specialism isn't a marketing line. It's the reason the work actually fits.
We won't tell you Salesforce is always the answer. Sometimes the honest answer is to fix a process first, and come back to the software question later.
How we work
We'd rather say upfront that you're not ready than build something on top of a process that isn't ready for it. Sometimes the right answer is: fix how you handle enquiries first, then come back to us.
One measurable change, proven, before the next one. Not a six-month implementation with everything bet on a single go-live. For most hire businesses that means quoting and availability first β the two things actually costing you jobs.
If Salesforce isn't the right answer for your business, we'll say so. That's not a sales tactic β it's just easier for everyone if we work with businesses where the fit is genuine.
On-hire, off-hire, hire desk, depot, utilisation. We work in the language of the industry β not in generic platform terminology that doesn't map to how hire businesses actually think.
We only work in hire. That's not pickiness β it means we're not learning your business from scratch when you call. And when something changes in the market, we've usually already seen it somewhere else.
Scope is agreed upfront. What's quoted is what's billed. If we get something wrong in the scoping, that's our problem to fix β not yours to absorb.
We talk in the language of hire, not the language of CRM platforms. If something doesn't make sense, we haven't explained it well enough yet.
Start small, prove it, then move to the next thing. You should see something working before we discuss what comes next.
If Salesforce isn't right for where you are right now, we'll say so β including if that means walking away from a project.
We'll talk through where the gap actually shows up in your business, and whether we're the right fit for it.
